August 17th
Good morning Father. I thank You for Your loving touch this morning. You have blessed me to awaken and see another day. I will rejoice in Your presence. Please do not allow my focus to be on the negative things that come my way. For You Lord are greater than any obstacle. Nothing can take away Your greatness. I know that You reign over all, and will carry myself and other believers through any storm. May unbelievers accept You as their Lord and Savior.. For according to Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV " Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
August 18th
Lord, I thank you for allowing me to dwell in You for my shelter. I praise you for being the Most High God and granting me needed rest, both mentally and physically. Jesus, You are my safe haven. Thank You Lord for reigning and overseeing all that I will have to handle on today. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to find shelter and rest in You. I pray for the unsaved to find salvation in You. For according to Psalm 91:1. "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." In Jesus' name. Amen.
August 19th
Jesus please grant me the strength and discipline to be still before You. Help me to wait patiently for Your guidance and direction. Thank You for encouraging me to not fret when others seem to succeed in their ways. For You are a sovereign and just God. Lord, You will have the final word on all things. I worship at Your feet this day. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to not fret over that which they cannot change, but trust You with their circumstances. I pray for unbelievers to surrender to You for their salvation. For according to Psalm 37:7 "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass." In Jesus' name. Amen.
August 10th
Thank You Lord for awaking me. I look forward to our time together throughout the day. The comfort and guidance of Your Holy Spirit is priceless. I shall praise Your name with my whole being. I'm so thankful that I can always run to You in prayer at any time, or anywhere. Thank You for caring about the issues of my heart. May my brothers and sisters in Christ always seek You for all that they are in need of. I pray for the unsaved to surrender their will to You, and accept You as their personal Savior. For according to Psalm 46:1 NKJV "God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble." In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
August 20th
Hello my heavenly Father. No one is holy like You Lord. Nor is there any rock like my God. Though strong winds blow in my life, You are steady, and a strong shelter. You give me peace and assurance of Your presence. I worship and magnify Your holy name. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to firmly know that You are always there for them. I pray for unbelievers to welcome You into their lives to make a change. For according to I Samuel 2:2, "No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God." In Jesus' name. Amen.
August 21st
O Lord, God, I give You thanks. There is no God like You in heaven above or on earth. I am grateful that You keep Your covenant of love for me. Please strengthen me to continue wholeheartedly in Your way. I praise You in advance for helping me with all of my challenges. Thank you for always being there for me, and helping me to encourage others. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to stay focused on pleasing You. I pray for unbelievers to fall in love with You. For according to I Kings 8:23 " ... and he said: “Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts."" In Jesus' name. Amen.
August 22nd
Lord, I praise and thank You for another day. May Your light shine bright along the pathway that You would have me to follow. Thank You for strength and courage to do what You have said in Your Word. Please help me to submit myself to Your guidance and direction. For Your power working within me shall resist the devil, and cause him to flee. I pray for the salvation of the unsaved, and for my brothers and sisters in Christ to be victorious over the enemy. You alone can keep us each day according to James 4:7 "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
August 23rd
My heart rejoices in You Lord. You have granted me this day to worship and be glad in Your presence. Who is like You Lord? There is none whom can remotely compare to Your greatness and love. My creator, redeemer, deliverer, Savior. I just want to say - thank You Lord, I love you. Thank You for identifying with me in all that I am confronted with. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to be granted the endurance and temperance needed for each day. I pray for unbelievers to have their hearts turned towards You. For according to I Samuel 2:1b "... My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation." In Jesus' name. Amen.
